The Joongdong Middle School friendly visit the LYBS
On the January 7th, the Joongdong Middle School sent the delegation to Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School to start a friendly visit.

Our school leaders welcome the Korean delegation to visit our school.

Guoqing Hu, LYBS General Principal, Ming Li, LYBS Middle School Principal, and Iain Riley, LYBS IB Principal and all the teachers and students in the middle school gave warm welcome to our Korean friends.

At 10:00 in the morning, our principals and student representative delivered the welcome speeches. Then as the Spring Festival is coming, the students took a language and literature class, which inquired the topic, "New Year", discussing the culture and history, connecting couplets, and making lanterns. They explored together, communicated, and got to know each other better. Then, Chinese and Korean students walked into the restaurant together to make dumplings and experienced the Chinese New Year atmosphere.

After the signing, the party was on, and the students of LYBS presented the traditional Chinese performances, Xinjiang dance, Tibetan dance, Chinese kung fu, Latin dance, group dance, chorus etc. Students from Joongdong Middle School brought the hip pop dance and cup dance, which were refreshing.
